At the Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs, we honor his extraordinary legacy by advancing the study and practice of governance in Missouri, the nation, and the world. Through our teaching, research, and public service, we educate the next generation of public leaders, inform public policy, and foster democratic discourse.

Truman School faculty and staff conduct cutting-edge research, provide executive consulting and leadership training, and bring academic expertise directly to policy makers. The School serves as a meeting ground where policy makers, community members, scholars, and students can engage in dialogue about critical public issues. All of this makes for a vibrant learning community.
