Missouri Nonprofit Leadership Program

The Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs at the University of Missouri-Columbia is proud to offer the Missouri Nonprofit Leadership Program, a unique professional development program designed to enhance the leadership skills of Missouri’s nonprofit leaders and help them prepare for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st Century.
The Missouri Nonprofit Leadership Program consists of four sessions held quarterly throughout the year that focus on building critical leadership skills such as: ethical decision-making, communicating effectively, thinking and acting strategically, budgeting, financial management, performance measurement, and leading change.
The Missouri Nonprofit Leadership Program is specifically designed for executive directors and board members of nonprofit organizations who want to enhance their leadership skills. The program is intended for individuals from every kind of nonprofit organization – from large multi-service organizations to small start-up organizations. Participation in the Nonprofit Leadership Program is an opportunity to learn more about the challenges of public service and gain highly useful leadership skills.
